Environmental control is the core technology for achieving high and stable yields in large-scale rabbit farming. Rabbits are extremely sensitive to environmental conditions, and abnormal temperature, humidity, or harmful gas concentrations can lead to reduced feed intake, reproductive disorders, and disease outbreaks.
The optimal temperature range for rabbits is 15-25 degrees Celsius, with 18-22 degrees being ideal for breeding rabbits. Heat stress occurs above 30 degrees and can be fatal above 35 degrees. Young kits require a warm environment of 30-32 degrees.
Relative humidity should be maintained at 60-70%. High humidity promotes bacterial growth and coccidia oocysts, while low humidity triggers respiratory diseases. Harmful gas control standards: ammonia below 20 ppm, hydrogen sulfide below 10 ppm, carbon dioxide below 3500 ppm.
Smart control systems consist of environmental sensors, data acquisition modules, controllers, and actuators. Sensors collect data every 15 minutes and upload to cloud platforms. When parameters exceed thresholds, fans, cooling pads, or heaters are automatically activated for closed-loop regulation.
Small and medium farmers can adopt semi-automatic solutions: installing temperature-humidity recorders and ammonia detection tubes with threshold alarms. Summer ventilation requires 30-60 air changes per hour, winter at least 15. Calibrate sensors regularly for data accuracy.

中小养殖户也可采用半自动方案:安装温湿度记录仪和氨气检测管,设定阈值报警。夏季通风量需达到每小时换气30-60次,冬季不低于15次。定期校准传感器确保数据准确性。
